Sul sito shadownessence.com (che consiglio a tutti gli amanti del wod che sappiano l'inglese) sono usciti spoiler sulle tre versioni della misteriosa setta VII che troveremo nel manuale in uscita lunedi.

Nessuna di queste è ufficiale (W la mancanza di metaplot [SM=x77429] [SM=x77429] ) ma servono per dare spunti al narratore.

ve le riporto in inglse, la prima è più sulla scia dei vecchi miti con antidiluviani e simili (vi è anche 1 nuovo clan!!!) , la terza è intrigante...la seconda la ritengo una cavolata.


There are three different takes on VII

The Princes of the Fallen City
This version presents the group as an ancient and epic sect rooted in the ill-fated biblical city of Gamorrah. They are the descendants of the Ahran line of royalty....cursed to be like their foes when the blood of the Ahran kings was willingly corrupted by the power of a demon lord in order to stand up against the Camarilla vampires of Rome. This created the Akhud Clan of vampires....ordained by God and empowered by a demon.

The Akhud (nicknamed the Ahranites) are a small and secretive clan. The demon blood in their veins differenciates their blood from that of normal kindred.
- There minds cannot be read. Any attempts sees only the demon or its captor (VII).
- The do not provoke or suffer Predator's Taint.
- They can sense vampires
- They are not diablerized nor can they gain potency for diablerizing others
- their blood does not satisfy a mortal's addiction to blood nor does it function for ghouls.

The Akhud also have their own unqiue discipline, Praestantia, which allows them to instinctively comprehend the position and of one's body to all other nearby objects and act accordingly. I.e. the Akhud may have an endless supply of lucky shots at an opponent and narrow dodges against his foe.

The Akhud get a full clan write up and their discipline is presented alng with a host of devotions using it. They also have their own form of sorcery, Ahranite Sorcery.

There is wealth of info on their tactics and such for the ST. Such as their entire method of cleansing a city of vampires. It has sections about vampires of other clans joining VII as spies and scouts as well as those who try to infiltrate VII.

NPCS presented in this version...

Mason Flavell: He was recruited (and embraced as an Akhud) after returning from the war in Baghdad with a superb military record. VII retired him from one war to fight theirs.

Sonja Daley: a former Lancea Sanctum Mehket that has turned scout/spy for VII. She usually goes ino a town to scout as much info about the local kindred and assess the situation....before she calls the ok for a VII strike force to assault the town.

Ravi Boronovski: He is an elder in charge of the an entire region of VII infrastructure. He was formerly a Carthian of Ventrue descent. He is a High Priest of Shaddad (the demon empowering the Akhud clan) and a master of Ahranite Sorcery.

The Betrayed
This version shows them as a revenge filled group waging a war against the monsters that betrayed them.

This take holds that a pact was created between a mortal bloodline and and vampiric bloodline that stated none of either can attack each other and that the eldest of the mortal line will be king and that of the vampire will be Prince in charge of kindred affairs. The pact also allowed the vampire bloodline to feast on those not of the mortal line. The final provision of the pact states that the vampire prince will grant the mortal king everlasting life as a ghoul..along with one other of the king's choseing..

The vampire prince betrayed th pact and slaughtered seven of the royal human line. The Ghoul-King vowed to destroy the vampire prince, huned the vampire down, and consumed his vampiric heart in rage. Thus, cursing himself and his line to a vampiric state.

The VII in this version are vampires without clan and covenant. They have 7 distinct bloodlines/houses.

There are character creation rules presented for creating vampires of this form of VII.

The blood of the Betrayed (this version of VII) is haunted by the ghosts of the slaughtered seven of the royal line and grants the Betrayed their powers.

The have an inborn trait called the Burning that utilizes their Beast to resist coercion and sheild his mind from intrusion....causing any attempt to to fail.

They are able to active an ability called the Eyes of Wrath..which allows them to see the true nature of any vampires within site....the mark of the betrayer.

The Sleepers
This version portrays them as a ancient experiment that turned into an uncontrollable sect of errant assassins.

The Sleeper version of VII are somewhat scarier in a way. The VII in this version do not even know what drives them to the slaughter of vampires. VII is a program of sorts...a code imprinted in the very blood of the Sleeper that lies dormant until activated...and overides the vampire's own personality and takes control. The vampire of this VII are twice-damned and their blood and mind has been violated by a group of vampires that call themselves the Seventh Day.

Sleepers can be controlled to create more sleepers by forcing their own blood to be consumed by a normal vampire...thus encoding that vampire's blood with the VII "code". The newly coded Sleeper goes back to his normal Requiem with no knowledge of the attack...until the code is activated.

The secrets of this VII is rooted in Victorian Science, sorcery, and physcic surgery....and initially started in a mortal secret society of doctors that were nicknamed The Chadwick Boys as most of them were doctors at the Chadwick Asylum. They experimented with surgery and manipulation of the brain as well as occult practices to learn to chage the very personality and demeanor of a human mind....that eventually led to them being able to uncover basic latent psychic ability. This eventually lead them to mind control .

The group captured a trully monstrous vampire who sought to reach Golconda by eliminated the whole of kindred population. The vamp had let himself be capture so that he could rest contol of The Chadwick Boys and a boy they had awoken great psychic potential in.

The vampire began using the technciques of these humans to create sleeper agenst amongst the kindred...until one day his own sleeper agents came up against him...and he allowed them to slaughter him...as he realized he was just as broken as other kindred.

The Sleepers that slaughtered their creator where seven in number and became the Seventh Day....even after the creator was slain..the Seventh Day continues to run uncontrolled...slaughtering all of those vampires they since sin within...and converting those they believe can be saved. They still uphold the belief that the only way to golconda is by the blood of the kindred race.


If a VII vamp is diablerized..the blood-borne code transfers to the one who diablerized the VII agent. They do not suffer the black lines of diablerie in their aura and they are forced to take the point they gain from Diablerie for a disciplines in the Psychogenics Discipline of the Sevenath Day vampires.

The Psychogenics discipline grants the VII Sleeper some psychic ability. (though unactive Sleepers proabably don't know they have the ability.) It allows the Sleeper to read surface thoughts, move things throw telekinisis, and plunge his fingers beneath skin and bone without even a moment's worth of pain.
